Senior College Counseling Newsletter

The College and Career Center’s Senior College Counseling Newsletter is now available. This issue is full of useful information and links as seniors begin their college application process. Seniors and their families who have any questions should contact their college counselor.

Juniors who are interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT on October 12 are encouraged to register by Monday, September 12. The PSAT/NMQT is a practice test for the SAT and is used by the National Merit Corporation as a qualifying test for all students who wish to participate in their nationwide scholarship competitions. Students who score in the 99th percentile of the PSAT/NMSQT qualify for this scholarship competition.
Registration is available through the e~Funds Payment Portal. When completing the registration, select Exam-PSAT/NMSQT under optional fees.

Seal of Biliteracy Testing Registration
|
Registration for Seal of Biliteracy testing is currently open and runs through September 14. Fall testing will be held on Saturday, September 24 and Saturday, October, 8, 2022. Click here for more information including new languages added this year! A link to register was sent last week via email.

College Visits for Juniors and Seniors

Junior and Senior students are invited to attend college visits at GBS this fall. All students MUST obtain teacher’s approval for the class they’ll be missing.
